While the number of journalists being attacked on duty has been reduced, it still goes on at an alarming rate. Investigate reporting has become extremely dreadful in India, according to the survey 54 journalists were attacked and 7 lost their lives in the year of 2016-17 in India. India is ranked as 136th in the world to be the worst country for journalism.
