What is the entire Rafale case?
India announced a deal for the procurement of 36 Rafale aircraft from France. Dassault Aviation, the manufacturing company of Rafale jets, chose the Indian company Reliance Defence as its offset partner in the deal. Congress president Rahul Gandhi alleged that the center has benefited the Reliance Company, which has no experience in manufacturing jets.
While, Dassault CEO Eric Trappier, in a press conference, denied the allegations of any wrongdoing. On the other side, the central govt. is also denying the allegations, claiming that the Indian Defense has been strengthened by the acquisition of these aircraft.
However, Congress doesn't want to miss the opportunity. It said - The match is fixed between Dassault-Modi govt. Congress president Rahul Gandhi also attacked Modi govt., tweeting - "Modi Ji admitted theft in the Supreme Court."
Let's see now how Modi govt. before the election battle wins the "Rafale Battle".
