History of Human Rights Day.

Human Rights Day is the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal proclaim of Human Rights.

The formal inception of Human Rights Day dates from 1950 after passed Assembly the resolution 423(V) inviting all States (Like India) and interested organizations to adopt 10 December of each year as Human Rights Day. The popularity of the day can be shown by the fact the commemorative Human Rights Day stamp issued by the United Nations (UN) Postal Administration in 1952.

A 1963 postage stamp from the Soviet Union and the commemorating is the 15th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights or you can say human right day.

When the General Assembly adopted the Declaration, with 48 states (In which our India country was also included) in favor and eight abstentions, it was proclaimed as a "common standard of achievement for every peoples and every nations", towards which individuals and societies should "strive by progressive (onward) measures, national and as well as international, to secure their universal and effective recognition. The measure was received by both advocates and critics alike as being more declarative than legislative.

Although the Declaration with its broad range of political, civil, economic, financially, social and cultural rights is not a binding document, it inspired (motivational) more than up to 60 human rights instruments which together constitute a Global standard of human rights (human rights day).

Today the general consent of all United Nations Member States on the basic Human Rights laid down in the Declaration (announcement) makes it even stronger, powerful and emphasizes the relevance of Human Rights in our daily lives.

The High Commissioner (HC) for Human Rights, as the main United Nations, rights OFFICIALLY, and his Office plays a major role in coordinating efforts for the yearly observation of Human Rights Day or human right day 2018.

Today, poverty prevails as the gravest human rights challenge in the whole world. Combating poverty, deprivation and exclusion is not a matter of charity and humanity. And also it doesn't depend on how rich a country rather it depends on social and general awareness about human rights obligation.

What is My (True News India)'s view on Human Rights Day?

According to True News India view there are so many peoples in the entire world, who are struggling to get own human rights due to inequality, poorness, and discrimination. So kindly we request to UN (united nation) that you should do hard work on mentioned limitations.
